Singapore Invites: Win a dream experience in Singapore

Singapore for me is so near yet so far. It's near because it's only a 3 hours flight from my country. It seems so far because with all honesty I can't afford to travel to Singapore. Travelling to Singapore will cost a lot of bucks and as of this moment travelling is my least priority.

But, Singapore is always been one of my #travelgoals aside from Paris and Japan. If only I have a chance to go there, the top 3 places in SG that I would like to visit is:

World Wide Instameet 12 PH

It's been a long time since my last post, but now I'm back on track again. Yaaaaas! :) Okay, so I just wanted to share you guys on what I've been doing these past few weeks. Last 2 weeks ago I attended the World Wide Instameet that was held at Bonifacio Global City in the Philippines. I know you're probably wondering what's an Instameet? It's actually an event where a group of Instagrammers is meeting up to take photos and videos together. Yup! That's it! An InstaMeet can happen anywhere and be any size. They're a great opportunity to share tips and tricks with other community members in your area, and an excuse to get out and explore someplace new!

How I edit my Instagram Photos

A few days ago I posted my Instagram roundups on my blog see it here and I asked you guys if you want me to teach you on how do I edit my Instagram photos and many of you said yes to the tutorial so here it is.

 I thought that today I’d share you some of my recent Instagram posts and do a recap of what I did on my last month via Instagram. I captured these photos using my iPhone and edited them on my favorite editing app which is VSCO cam. Looking at the photos from left to right:

1. It's a throwback photo 2 years ago ( August 2013 ). We went to Virgelands Parken in Oslo, Norway. It is one of the biggest tourist attraction in Norway where you can see nude sculptures from Infant to Elderly. It's actually quite interesting. That place is a work of art I can say.

2. Recently I just posted "What's in my bag" on my blog. You can check it out here.

3. I decided to make a French tip manicure on my own. You can also find it on my blog here.

4. These are my current favorite makeup essentials that I used on my daily basis. Check my blog post about it here.

6. That's my boyfriend first time to try flow rider at Bø sommerland in Telemark Norway during our summer vacation last year.

7. A month ago, when I was practicing photography I saw a thick black smoke outside our office's window. I thought it was only a smoke coming from a factory, but I was shocked when I heard the news that it was actually coming from a burning Factory Somewhere in Manila, Philippines. 72 people were found dead. I never thought that I witnessed and captured such a tragic moment like this :(

What's in My Bag?

Today I thought that I would do a What's in my bag blog post as I've seen them a lot in YouTube. I always wanted to do a blog post like this ever since and this time I will do it. It's fun to take a peek on someone else's bag (Not in person, I meant through blog post) so why not share what's in mine.

My bag is a Jet Set Tote Bag by Michael Kors. I bought it at Geddon Female in Norway, it was around $400. I love it! it's perfect for traveling because it's big, there's plenty of space inside. I can stuff it with a lot of things like my iPad or even my laptop. I always carry this bag to work and back also for just general use. What I like the most about this bag is it's very versatile, it can carry whatever I need for a day out and about whether I'm heading to the beach or the office but is stylish enough to complement the chicest evening looks. And it's understated with multiple pockets for easy-access to my essentials.

So here is a sneak peek of what's inside my Bag.

Makeup Bag: It's a pouch from H&M. It has 2 compartments, on the 1st compartment I stored all my makeup and other little essentials on the second compartment where it holds all my Toiletries stuff.

An open letter to my boyfriend on our 5th year anniversary as a couple

I was 19 years old and he was 21 when we met each other. We were deeply in-love that time that we didn't thought of anybody else but our love. Many people disagreed to our love-story. Many people are in contrast with our relationship. We started our love wrong because we are both in a relationship during that time but as time goes by it made us realized that there is no right or wrong when it comes to love. As time goes by we have learn to make our love right.

i hope my boyfriend read this post but i don't think so because he never visit my blog coz he's so busy playing with his PS games :p

My message to my boyfriend

Dear Arvin,

Happy 5th year anniversary to us baby!!! i still can't believe that we have gone this far, i mean who would have thought that our relationship will last like this because there are times when we hear people saying we won’t last a month. But look where we are now. 

Though it’s already been five years, we continuously learn from each other. There is still "magic" between us. And most of all, I really appreciate it to see both of us growing.

I just want to thank you for sharing with me your life this past five years. I am looking forward for the next five or more years to come. And I hope on the next coming years or so I am going to walk down the aisle with you.I love you forever baby ❤️

An unusual Birthday | My 24th birthday

Today I'm a year older and wiser (I hope). Gosh the days goes by so fast! I can't believe that I'm already 24 and soon I will be 30. But after all, age is just a number! 

And since it's my special day today I planned to make a get ready with me blog about my 24th birthday. I wanted to show you my make up and my outfit of the day but some things don't go according to plan. It always happened to me. And instead, it became a tragic day -somehow. So instead of doing nothing or sobbing I will just tell you what my day was.

I woke up early in the morning to prepare for work, and also to have enough time to take a selfie and take photos for my "ootd" but I was too confident that I still have enough time. I thought that it was too early so I took my time putting my makeup on, ironing my hair and eating breakfast but then I realized that it was already 8:30 in the morning and that means that I am late to work because 8:30 is the starting time of my work. So I hurried up, brushed my teeth, packed the things that I need to my work and leave the house, As I walked I realized that there's something missing.. and it's my wallet! wew! I'd run as fast as I can to our house and get my freaking wallet! I hoped that it's not my birthday today, that my birthday is 2 weeks from now so that I will be much prepared. It feels like an ordinary day. And yesterday, Our boss told us that today was the hottest temperature ever recorded here in the Philippines, It's 39 degree freaking Celsius! I was melting while waiting for the taxi because I don't have a car yet so I have to commute to the office. What a day!!!

When I get inside the office, no one ever remembered that it's my birthday today.. And later of the day I'm going to present the products of our company.. I don't feel special today. I felt so sad because I'm not used being treated like this. I remembered what happened to my birthday last year, my friends in Norway surprised me! they gave me cakes and they cooked food for my party. I'm so thankful that day :)

And aside from that because I have work today so I need to move my birthday to 1st of May because it's a non-working holiday here in the Philippines.

But thanks to Facebook for reminding my friends that it's my birthday today! because of that a lot of people greeted me a happy birthday to my Facebook wall same as every year and thanks you guys for flooding my wall LOL. I also received some emails from the sites that I subscribed to greeted me a happy birthday thanks to y'all!

The Script Live in Manila 2015

Omg! I'm so excited to write this blog because it's about "The Script Live in Manila 2015" concert yesterday! Wohooo! I still have the "Post concert hangover", even though 24 hours has already passed. I was so happy I got to watch The Script concert last night because it's my first time to see them live! And they are my favorite band of all time. This was truly one of the best moments in my life that i will never forget and I would like to share this wonderful moment to you.

It was around 8:00 pm when we get in to the arena, it was so huge and a lot of people are there i think it was at least 20,000 people This was the 3rd time that the script visited Philippines to perform a concert for their "No Sound Without Silence tour. Their first concert in the Philippines was held at the Araneta coliseum, second was still at araneta and now at Mall of Asia arena.

The first band to perform is a local Filipino band during my High School days named "silent sanctuary" they played OPM music and they are really unique and talented.

Then after 3 sets of their songs finally the one we've been waiting for has finally arrived it's The Script!

Their opening number was really "the bomb" they have this green flag waving and the crowd went wild when Danny O'Donoghue, The Script's lead vocalist/frontman appeared from the mass of crowd and followed by Mark Sheehan, guitarist and Glen Powers, drummer. The first song they played was "Paint the town Green" from their latest Album No Sound Without Silence. It was really awesome and I had goosebumps during that time! The crowd was very energetic and alive.

The second song they performed was "Hail, Rain or Sunshine".

Then third song they performed was "Break even". I'm so happy that they played one of my favorite song! It was a pleasure for me to hear it Live.

How to come up with a perfect, unique and creative blog title?

It's Sunday afternoon and I'm thinking of writing a blog but i don't know should I name it. Just like you it's difficult for me to come up with a good blog title because it is my first time to make a blog in my entire life and as you know there are tons of blogs already and you might think that the blog name that you want is already taken so the solution for me is to search on Google and by that i found a cute blog name that perfectly fits my blog, i'ts called "Love, peace and shimmer" because I can see through that three words all the ideas that i will be blogging about like love, life, inspiration, beauty, makeup, style, etc. So where did I get this blog name? Love, peace and shimmer x My first blog ever.

Lately I've been thinking on writing a blog. I already came up with a good blog name that will relate with the contents of my blog, it is called "Love, peace and shimmer". I made this blog out of hobby and as a journal. I want to record all the events that's happening in my everyday life and also the things that i'm passionate about. The contents of this blog are about life, food, travel. fashion, love, makeup, hair, ootd, style, fitness, beauty, DIY, haul, inspiration, lifestyle and everything that I fancy.
